Description
Calathea Illustris has oval, deep-green leaves with silvery feathered bands, a fine pink midrib and rich burgundy undersides. Every leaf looks hand-painted.
Keep it in filtered light with steady moisture and good humidity, away from AC vents. Like all Calatheas, it's non-toxic and safe to keep around pets.

- Light: Medium, filtered light. Direct sun scorches and fades the leaf pattern, so keep it away from sunny windowsills.
- Water: Keep the soil lightly moist, never soggy. Water when the top 1–2 cm feels dry (every 3–5 days in summer, less in winter). Use RO, filtered or rested tap water if you can.
- Humidity: Loves humidity. Mist a few times a week or keep on a pebble tray, especially with AC running.
